Trump/Romney Dinner Photo

The Trump/Romney Dinner Photo refers to a series of jokes about a photograph of Mitt Romney and President-elect Donald Trump eating dinner. In November 2016, President-elect Donald Trump met with Mitt Romney and Reince Priebus at Jean-Georges, a restaurant located in the New York City Trump Tower, to discuss Romney potentially being Trump's Secretary of State. Photographer Drew Angerer took a picture of the dinner in which Romney is turned toward the camera with a small smile while Trump is seen lit from below, smiling. The photograph struck many as awkward, especially considering the two men's animosity towards each other, and Twitter users began making jokes about the apparent effort behind Romney's smile and the lighting appearing to make Trump look sinister. The meme is erroneously known as trump romney dinner meme, trump and romney dinner meme, trump and romney dinner smile meme, awkward dinner trump romney meme, trump mitt romney dinner smile meme
