Donald Trump's Empty Chairs

Donald Trump's Empty Chairs is a series of image macros featuring United States President Donald Trump seated between two empty chairs. Online, people joked about how lonely the president appeared. In November 2017, following a tweet from President Trump taunting them, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi canceled a meeting with the president. Trump continued with the meeting, seating himself between the two empty chairs reserved for Pelosi and Schumer. Shortly after the meeting aired, Twitter users began captioning the photograph. Other users photoshopped the image. Several media outlets covered the picture, including HuffPost, The Indepenent, Mediaite and more. The meme is erroneously known as trump’s empty chairs meme, trump empty chair meme, donald trump chairs empty next to him meme
