Ah Yes, The Negotiator

“Ah, Yes. The Negotiator” is a very catchy phrase taken from the sci-fi movie Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, premiered on May 19th, 2005. The scene shows General Grievous uin a bridge surrounded by droids where Obi-Wan and Anakin are brought as captives. Upon facing General Kenobi who is well known for his negotiation skills in battles, Grievous utters the above dialogue. It is used as a reaction image for a subject’s sly or witty way of bargaining a deal of some sort. The meme could be seen across various subreddits during January 2018 and within a short span of time, it went viral across Facebook and Imgur too. The “Ah, Yes. The Negotiator” meme is also (sometimes erroneously) referred to as: negotiator meme, star wars negotiator meme, star wars general grievous meme, general grievous meme, general grievous negotiator meme.
